Performance of mango (Mangifera indica L.) on poly-embryonic and mono-embryonic rootstocks.

Abstract : Data are presented on the growth and cropping of 12-year-old mango trees, cv. Neelum, on the polyembryonic rootstocks Olour and Bapakkai, and on monoembryonic seedling rootstocks. Trees on Olour were the smallest, and those on Bapakkai the largest. The cumulative yields were much the largest with trees on Bapakkai, followed by those on Olour. Differences in fruit quality were slight.
