Cold damage to fruit quality during storage.

Abstract : The results are presented of experiments on cold storage of avocados, sapodilla (Manilkara achras), passion fruit, guavas, mammey (Mammea americana), mango, pawpaw, pineapple and zapote (Lucuma mammosa [Calocarpum mammosum]). Data are tabulated on changes in chemical composition of damaged and undamaged fruit, critical storage temperatures and the frequency of the occurrence of symptoms caused by low temperature.
