Abstract : Fruit quality standardization for the cultivars Nam-Dokmai, Nang-Klangwan, Tong-Dam, Ratt and Pim-Saenpiew was determined. Quantitative (fruit size and weight) and qualitative (flavour, texture and fibre) data were analysed using percentile and regression analysis. Shape and size were not related to the edible component of fruit weight as in durian [see Hiranpradit, H. et al., Acta Horticulturae (1992) No.321, 695-704] but fruit weight was highly correlated with the weight and thickness of the edible part of the fruit. Four classes were proposed, viz. Extra, Class I, Class II and Class III on the basis of fruit weight.
