Abstract : The physicochemical composition of fruits of 6 mango cultivars (Dusehri, Langra, Totapari Red Small, Local Seedling, Late Bhaduran and Amarpali) were studied. Fruits were harvested on 15 July, except for Late Bhaduran which was harvested on 5 Aug. Fruits were ripened for one week at ambient temperature. Langra fruits had the highest stone, peel, pulp and fruit (203.6 g) weights and Dusehri fruits had the greatest length and breadth. Local Seedling produced fruits of the lowest weight and size. Dusehri fruits had the highest TSS and total sugar contents and Totapari Red Small the lowest.
