Abstract : This is the fourth volume in a series of 13 volumes on Indian horticultural research and the last of the 4 volumes in this series which are devoted to fruit crops. This volume comprises 21 chapters covering fruit maturity, fruit ripening, harvesting, handling and storage, postharvest losses, irradiation, processing, making preserves and pickles, dehydration, wine making, utilization of fruit wastes, innovations in postharvest technology, biennial bearing in mango, mango malformation, mango disorders (spongy tissue, black-tip and internal necrosis), granulation in Citrus, guava wilt, ecophysiological disorders in grape, and fruit cracking.
