Abstract : Zn deficiency was shown to be the cause of severe malformations in mature mango trees which had become unproductive. The primary and secondary symptoms are described and illustrated; secondary symptoms may be associated with Cu deficiency. Treatment with foliar sprays of ZnSO4 or ZnO is rapidly effective.
