Effect of different combinations of N, P and K on growth, yield and quality of mango cv. Dashehri.

Abstract : In a fertilizer trial on 6-year-old plants of mango cv. Dashehri [Dashehari], N at 1000, 1500 or 2000 g/plant, P2O5 at 250, 500 or 750 g/plant and K2O at 500, 750 or 1000 g/plant were applied annually for 5 years in all combinations. Pooled results over the whole trial revealed the best fertilizer combination for plant girth, spread and yield to be 1500 kg N + 750 g P2O5 + 1000 kg K2O per plant/year.
