Abstract : Mango production in Asia covers more than 1 million ha, producing a total of 12.42 Mt [per year]; this accounts for 60.5% of world production. The main cultivars grown are Mallika, Amrapalli, Ratna, Arka Aruna, Arka Puneet and Arka Anmol. Propagation, rootstocks, nutrient requirements, irrigation, intercropping, high density planting, physiological disorders, ripening, packaging, transport, storage, processing, waste utilization, pests and diseases are also discussed.
