Abstract : This workshop, held in Bangkok, Thailand from 16 to 18 July 1992, constituted part of ACIAR project no. 8844, which was undertaken by collaborating research teams at the Queensland Department of Primary Industries in Australia and at the Department of Agriculture, the Institute of Scientific and Technological Research and Chiang Mai and Kasetsart Universities in Thailand. In addition to the introduction, 16 papers are presented, covering various aspects of the postharvest handling of tropical (and subtropical) fruits (primarily mangoes, litchis and rambutans).
