Abstract : The effects of temperature, rainfall and wind speed, and those of leaf and soil N, P and K contents on yield, were studied over 4 years with the cultivar Haden. Correlation data showed that the highest yields were obtained under the following conditions: wind speed in Dec. and Feb. being 0.43 and 0.98 km/h, respectively; rainfall in Oct., Nov. and Jan. being 40.10, 15.5 and 3.25 mm, respectively; and leaf N, P and K contents during flowering (Feb.) being 1.15, 0.24 and 0.78%, respectively.
