Pathological and histological note on mango malformation in Egypt.

Abstract : Seventeen different fungal species were isolated from malformed vegetative and floral tissue. Certain isolates of Fusarium moniliforme were shown to be pathogenic and produced vegetative malformation. The growth of F. moniliforme was inhibited in vitro by benomyl and captan, but these fungicides had no effect when sprayed on diseased trees.
