Abstract : Information on the pollination requirements (including pollinators, pollenizers and the minimum number of plants of a fruit species or cultivar required for successful pollination and fruit production) is important when planning agroforestry projects on small farms, but such information is often unavailable for the non-traditional fruit crops often used in these projects. With this in mind, information on the pollination requirements of avocados, bananas, carambolas, Citrus (oranges, grapefruits, tangerines [mandarins], West Indian limes, pummelos, tangelos and Tahiti limes [C. latifolia]), guavas, Spondias cytherea [S. dulcis], Calocarpum sapote [Pouteria sapota], mangoes, pawpaws, pineapples, sapodillas, Annona muricata, Melicoccus bijugatus, Chrysophyllum cainito, tamarinds, Malpighia punicifolia and Casimiroa edulis is tabulated.
