Abstract : Mango cv. Himsagar trees were sprayed with the trace element formulations Multiplex (0.25, 0.50 or 0.75%), Plantaid (0.25, 0.50 or 0.75%) or Tracel-2 (0.30, 0.50 or 0.70%) during panicle initiation and at the marble stage of fruit development. Controls were sprayed with water. Highest yield was obtained with 0.75% Multiplex (62.7 kg/plant, compared with 37.0 kg/plant in controls). Fruit weight was highest with 0.70% Tracel (296.7 g), but this was not significantly higher than with the other treatments. TSS content was highest with 0.30% Tracel, but total sugars and acidity were not affected by treatments.
