Abstract : The concentration of different nutrients in the epicarp, mesocarp, stony endocarp and kernel of mature fruits of 5 mango cultivars (Alphonso, Rumani, Langra, Totapuri and Hybrid 10) was investigated. The mean fruit nutrient concentrations were 0.46% N, 195 mg P/100 g, 0.88% K, 412 mg Ca 100 g, 82 mg Mg/100 g, 542 mg S/100 g, 50 p.p.m. Fe, 10 p.p.m. Mn, 11.5 p.p.m. Zn and 24 p.p.m. Cu. Maximum N (43% of total), P (73%), Ca (47%), Mg (48%), Fe (53%), Zn (53%) and Cu (64%) concentrations were found in the mesocarp, while S and Mn concentrations were greatest in the endocarp and the kernel, respectively.
