Nutritional characters of purple flower mango trees.

Abstract : The effects of fertilizer treatments on N, P, K, Zn, Mn, Fe, Mg, Ca contents in leaves, flowers and fruits were studied in 1990-92. The results showed that the amounts of N, P and K absorbed per 1000 kg of fruits were 0.98-1.5 kg N, 0.25-0.57 kg P2O5 and 1.37-2.19 kg K2O. Leaf nutrient contents decreased during the reproductive growth stage, while the contents of Zn, Mn and Ca in flowers increased.
