Abstract : Two new acyclic sesquiterpenes, farnas-5,15-olide and farnas-7(14)-en-9,12-diol, were isolated in addition to the known compounds taraxerol, friedelin, mangiferin, C-24 epimer of cycloart-25-on-3?,24,27-triol-triacetate and mangiferonic acid from the alcoholic extract of the stem bark.
