Abstract : Incidence of this disease varied from 7.1 to 8% and all the orchards examined were affected. Among 10 toxicants tested against the pathogen in vitro, Agromycin-100 [streptomycin] at 1% was the most inhibitory and in field tests with 6 of the compounds, Agromycin-100 as a 2% spray gave the best control, followed by Cupravit [copper oxychloride].
