Effect of urea sprays on vegetative growth and fruit weight of different mango cultivars.

Abstract : Foliar sprays of urea at 2, 4 or 6% improved vegetative growth and fruit weight in the mango cvs Langra, Dashehari and Totapari. Vegetative growth in all cvs increased with increasing urea rates, but fruit weight was maximum in response to 4% urea in Dashehari and Totapari, and a further response to the 6% rate was achieved only in Langra.
