Abstract : This note provides mango growers in Northern Territory, Australia, with general guidelines on economic aspects of exporting, especially to Hong Kong and Singapore, which are the Northern Territory's main established markets. It includes: a brief overview of mango exports from Australia in 1993/94, a description of the export sale process, the main benefits to growers who choose to export, and some background information on prices and market requirements of Singapore, Hong Kong and Japanese markets.
