Abstract : During 1988-89, the efficacy of 8 fungicide treatments (carbendazim, copper oxychloride, mancozeb, zineb, aureofungin, captafol, 1% Bordeaux mixture and 0.8% Bordeaux mixture) and soil amendments of borax, urea, and nitrogen, phosphorus and potash (NPK) on the control of B. theobromae in mangoes was investigated in Himachal Pradesh, India. Max. disease control was achieved by 1% Bordeaux mixture followed by 0.8% Bordeaux mixture and carbendazim. The addition of borax, urea and NPK were not effective.
