Abstract : Two new chromones were isolated from the dried roots of mango trees, collected from Karachi. Their structures were elucidated from spectroscopic analyses as 3-hydroxy-2-(4?-methylbenzoyl)-chromone and 3-methoxy-2-(4?-methylbenzoyl)-chromone.
