Note on a Phytophthora canker on mango trees in the Ivory Coast.

Abstract : A description is given of the canker, observed for the first time in the Ivory Coast, and characterized by split bark, gummosis and necrotic cortical tissue scored with reddish-brown lines. The causal agent was identified as P. palmivora and the symptoms were reproduced by artificial inoculation.
