Abstract : Field studies in Egypt showed that height, tree quadrant and season all had highly significant effects on the distribution of Insulaspis (Lepidosaphes) pallidus (Green) on mango trees. Populations were significantly larger on the lower portions of trees than on the middle or upper portions, in the northern quadrant than in the other quadrants, and in December than in May or August. Interactions between height and direction had significant effects on distribution, whereas those between season and direction and season and height did not.ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT:On mango trees.
