Abstract : Three foliar sprays of each of thiophanate-methyl (as Topsin-M), benomyl (as Benlate), chlorothalonil (as Daconil), Bordeaux mixture and propiconazole (as Tilt) were made at their recommended doses on mango twigs inoculated with D. natalensis [Botryodiplodia theobromae]. Thiophanate-methyl and benomyl at 1.5 g/litre and 0.5 g/litre, respectively, were effective in controlling disease. Propiconazole was least effective in reducing disease severity.
