First report of Fusarium decemcellulare as a pathogen of mango in the United States.

Abstract : Large galls have been reported on mangoes in the USDA-ARS germplasm collection in Miami, Florida, USA, for the past 20 years. F. decemcellulare [Nectria rigidiuscula] was isolated from 5% of tissue gall samples. Aspects of the biology of the pathogen and the symptoms on mango are described. This is the first report of N. rigidiuscula on mango in the USA.
