Abstract : During observations on the number of larvae of Rhynchaenus mangiferae per leaf, the area consumed by larvae/leaf and the percentage of damaged leaves on 10 randomly selected branches in each of 8 mango cultivars, cv. Mundappa showed the least damage, followed by Jehangeer. The number of larvae was 1.2-8.8 and 1.4-4.2/leaf, 7 and 15 days after flushing, respectively.
