Abstract : The feeding behaviour of Linyphia sp. on various prey species is described on the basis of observations in areas of Karnataka, India, rich in mango trees and grass. Since the mango pests Idioscopus spp. and the grass-living Nephotettix virescens were frequently preyed on, it is inferred that these spiders feed on insects available in abundance in their natural habitats.
