Abstract : Field studies were conducted in India during February 1988 to determine the efficacy of monocrotophos, dimethoate, quinalphos, carbaryl and endosulfan for the control of Amritodus atkinsoni on mangoes. Monocrotophos was the most effective, (78.52% control) followed by endosulfan (73.85%) and carbaryl (71.83%). From the results, monocrotophos 0.03% a.i., endosulfan 0.05% a.i. and carbaryl 0.2% a.i. are recommended for the control of Amritodus atkinsoni.
