Abstract : Nine small to medium size mango (Mangifera indica) cultivars growing in an orchard at Maracay, Venezuela, were evaluated during October 1989-September 1991 for vegetative growth, flowering and fruitcropping periods as well as the photothermal units required during each period. The majority of cultivars reached 100% flowering during the third-fourth week in January, with the fruit setting period running from the third week in December until the fourth week in June.
