Differences in leaf gall incidence between mango cultivars.

Abstract : Eleven mango cultivars were compared for number of galls per unit leaf area, presumably caused by mango gall fly (Procontarinia matteiana), during September 1994 and March 1995. The number of galls per unit leaf area was much greater for Tommy Atkins and Heidi than for the other cultivars, suggesting they are very susceptible. Sensation, Irwin, Keitt and Kent appeared to be resistant to galling.
