Abstract : The non-French Caribbean comprises many different countries. The agricultural export crops that have long prevailed are increasingly affected by serious international competition. This study examines development projects for ligneous fruit trees, marketing outlets for fresh and processed products and medium-term production prospects. The trees covered are: ackee, citrus fruits, cashew, breadfruit, avocado, carambola, West Indian cherry, sourop, guava, mango, ambarella, sapodilla, and sapodilla plum.
