Translocation studies in mango in relation to floral malformation.

Abstract : Translocation studies, using 14C injections, were conducted in mango cv. Amarapali shoots at 4 developmental stages (fully swollen buds, bud inception, developing panicles and fully developed panicles). The results clearly indicated that healthy panicles are more powerful sinks than malformed ones, at all stages of development.
