Leaf and soil nutrient norms for mango (Mangifera indica L.) grown in peninsular India.

Abstract : A survey conducted in orchards of Totapuri mango in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu clearly indicated deficiencies of N, Mg and Zn. Leaf nutrient norms were developed using DRIS and the causes of poor growth and low yields were identified. Optimum leaf nutrient contents for obtaining yields of 10.50-13.70 t/ha were established. Soil norms were also established for this yield level.
