Abstract : The fruit morphology of seven varieties is described and brief information provided on fruiting period and production, bearing irregularities and keeping quality. Rashu-E-Jahan had the highest content of total soluble solids and total sugars and lowest acidity; Langra Bengal had the highest ascorbic acid. content. [See also PBA 42, 3459]
