Abstract : In a recent quarantine survey in the Torres Strait (between Queensland and Papua New Guinea) the sugarcane borer Chilo terrenellus and the red-banded mango caterpillar [Noorda albizonalis] were detected on Dauan Island (close to the mainland of Papua New Guinea).
