Persistence of insecticides against mango hoppers.

Abstract : One-year-old mango seedlings were sprayed with 6 insecticides. After drying (10-15 min), adults and nymphs of Amritodus atkinsoni and Idioscopus niveosparsus were released on each treated seedling. 0.008% Fluvalinate, 0.04% monocrotophos and 0.1% carbaryl were the most effective and persistent against these 2 pests.
