Screening of mango germplasm for resistance to powdery mildew caused by Oidium mangiferae.

Abstract : During 1987-88, a collection of 267 accessions was screened for resistance to O. mangiferae by spraying new leaves with a spore suspension and also dusting spores onto the leaves. Only 8 accessions were resistant (no infection), while a further 20 were moderately resistant (up to 10% infection).
