Abstract : Five-year-old Haden mango trees growing in Maracay, Aragua, Venezuela were treated with 0, 2.5, 5.0, 10.0 or 15.0 g a.i. paclobutrazol (applied to the soil on 15 July 1993, except for the 2.5 g rate which was applied on 15 October 1993). Data are tabulated on crown height, crown diameter, trunk diameter, lateral surface and shoot lengths 360 days after application, and on leaf number, length and area in June 1994. All rates of paclobutrazol reduced growth, and reduced leaf area but not leaf number.
