Abstract : Mango trees were sprayed with 2% or 4% urea and/or double superphosphate. Both rates of urea increased panicle length, the number of secondary branches/panicle, the duration of flowering, the numbers of male and hermaphrodite flowers, fruit set and yield of fruit/panicle. The P sprays increased panicle length, the duration of flowering and the numbers of male and hermaphrodite flowers. Combination treatments caused earlier panicle emergence and slight increases in all flowering and fruiting characters.
