Abstract : The timing and degree of starch accumulation and utilization in different parts of Sensation mango trees were investigated. The roots, wood, bark, shoots and leaves accumulated starch during winter, and these reserves were sharply depleted during spring and summer. The fruits were strong sinks for starch, and dominated all other parts during their development until harvest.
