Abstract : The effects of different rootstocks on the yields of various mango cultivars grown in the Northern Territory, Australia, were investigated. During 1992-95 (4 successive seasons), yields of mango cv. Kensington on 9 different rootstocks varied from 548.9 kg/tree on Sg. Siput, to 289.1 kg/tree on Sabre. During the 1992 season, Tommy Atkins yielded 43% more on Turpentine (Common) rootstock than on Sabre. Rootstocks also influenced fruit appearance and maturity times.
