Anatomical studies of mango graft union.

Abstract : Veneer grafts of mango were treated with IBA at 0 or 1000 p.p.m. and their morphology was studied at intervals up to 60 days afterwards. Callus production by stock and scion was accelerated by IBA treatment. In a comparative study of 3- and 8-month-old seedlings that were inarched or veneer grafted the unions were stronger and healed earlier with veneer grafting.
