A revision of the idiocerine leafhopper genus Amritodus (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) breeding on mango.

Abstract : The genus Amritodus, from northeast India, is redefined. A. atkinsoni, A. brevistylus and A. saeedi are redescribed and illustrated with distribution records. A. brevis sp. nov. from Mizoram (Silchar) breeding on mango is also described and illustrated. A key to species of Amritodus is given and A. pistacious (from Taiwan) is removed from the genus.
