Abstract : Ceratitis capitata, C. rosa and C. cosyra were monitored during January-July 1996 in 2 mango orchards (cv. Fascell and Sensation) in South Africa, using milk bottle traps with Hymlure and Sensus traps with outspan Ceratitis lure (OCL). The most common species caught was C. rosa, while captures of C. capitata were almost negligible. Sensus traps attracted only males, while Hymlure-baited traps attracted both sexes.
