Abstract : A description is provided of this mango (Mangifera indica) cultivar, derived from a cross between an unnamed Kensington off-type and Kensington Pride and submitted for the registration of plant variety rights in Australia. It was evaluated together with Kensington Pride in trials conducted at Biboohra (Mareeba), northern Queensland. Length, width, depth and length/width ratio of Kensington Red fruits average 114.4 mm, 89.6 mm, 83.6 mm and 1.3, respectively. Flesh is medium in firmness and texture, very juicy, aromatic and sweet.
