Abstract : This is the sixth edition of the annual report series on fruit and vegetable trading at Flemington Market in Sydney, Australia. A summary of produce intake is given for July 1990 to June 1997. Monthly price spreads for all fruit and for all vegetables for July 1996 to June 1997 are presented. Product reports are included on apples, avocados, bananas, cherries, lemons and grapefruit, mandarins, mangoes, melons, oranges, pawpaws and pineapples, peaches and nectarines; and on asparagus, beans and peas, broccoli and cauliflower, capsicum, carrots and celery, cucumbers, lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes and aubergines. Monthly receivals are tabulated for intakes of all fruit and all vegetables by month and sections on receivals by origin give annual intakes of fruit and vegetables from each state and territory. A special feature reviews produce prices on overseas markets.
