Abstract : The effects of post-bloom sprays of growth regulators on Taimour mango trees was studied during 1992/93 and 1993/94 seasons at El-Haram orchard in the Giza governorate of Egypt. Spraying mango trees with NAA at 40 ppm once on 26 April (1st season) or 1 May (2nd season) increased number of mature fruits/panicle, number of mature fruits/tree and yield as kg/tree as well as %TSS in fruit juice. PP333 [paclobutrazol] at 300 ppm as a foliar spray on the same dates was the next best treatment. Moreover, PP333 at 300 ppm produced the highest values for fruit weight and pulp weight followed by NAA at 40 ppm sprayed on the same dates.
