Effect of paclobutrazol on growth and flowering in mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Ratna.

Abstract : The effects of paclobutrazol (0, 2.5, 5 or 7.5 g/tree), applied on 1, 16 or 31 August, on the flowering of mangoes (cv. Ratna) were investigated in India during 1991-92. The best treatment to promote early and regular flowering was paclobutrazol at 7.5 g/tree applied on 31 August.
