Abstract : Scions of mango cv. Dashehari were defoliated (6, 8 or 10 days before cutting) and stored for 0, 3 or 6 days before grafting on seedling rootstocks in the rainy seasons of 1991 and 1992. The best growth and survival (79%) of grafted plants was observed in the treatment with used scions which had been defoliated for 8 days and stored for 3 days before grafting.
