Abstract : The mango cultivar Tainong 1 produces oblate/oval-shaped medium-sized fruits (average weight 221 g) with orange-yellow skin with a faint blush, and orange-yellow, fine, tender flesh with a low fibre content. The flesh is very juicy and aromatic, with a soluble solids content of 20%. Storage and transport quality are good and the trees have some resistance to anthracnose [Glomerella cingulata].
